Show Notes

From a gifted musical son, a 17-year journey with Alzheimer's, to a 30ft exhibition piece and a not-so-ordinary ghost story…

In this episode, we are going to weave our way through a number of discussion topics because all have such value and wisdom in them. I was like a child in a candy store - overwhelmed by all the treats on offer. This is what delving into Carrie Knowles's life is like - a store full of treats. She is a Storyteller, creator, world traveler, arts advocate, and grandmother. She is also an award-winning artist and author of 45 years with a passport she describes as 'the size of a library'. Carrie is also someone who has experienced the grief of seeing her mother deteriorate at the hands of Alzheimer's and has penned a fabulous resource from her own family's perspective to help others understand what they can be in for in this lengthy journey. Plus she shares the incredible connection to a grandmother she never knew, yet, who came to her in her dreams until she wove the unknowns of her grandmother's life into a book. This is a super interesting episode that I hope you will not only enjoy but get some real value from.
